Day 01: Singapore - Kansai - Osaka - Kyoto

Kuromon Ichiba Market - Historic market street selling fish, meat, produce, sweets and many more.

Osaka Castle - This is one of Japan's most famous landmarks.

Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi - Both are popular shopping streets in the city.

Day 02: Kyoto - Arashiyama - Gifu

(Breakfast)

Kiyomizu Dera Temple - One of the most celebrated temples in Japan best known for its wooden stage that juts out from its main hall at 13m above the hillside.

Sannenzaka - The charming stone-paved path leads to Kiyomizu Dera Temple. On the sides are traditional souvenir shops and teahouses.

Togetsukyo Bridge - Arashiyama's icon landmark, Togetsukyo Bridge of 155m spans across the Katsura River offering gorgeous views of the Arashiyama Mountain and the surrounding range.

Bamboo Grove - Take a walk-through Kyoto's most iconic sight, leaving you with one of your most lasting impressions of the city.

Day 03: Gifu - Takayama - Matsumoto

Shirakawa-go - Explore the Unesco World Heritage Shirakawa-go for its historical villages.

Takayama Old Town - The beautifully preserved Edo-period district is known for its historic merchant street, traditional architecture apart from sake breweries.

Day 04: Matsumoto - Mt Fuji

Oishi Park - The park sits on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi offering panoramic views of Mt Fuji across the lake.

Oshino Hakkai - This area has eight ponds fed by snow melt from the slopes of the nearby Mt Fuji that filters down the mountain. Next to one of the ponds, visitors can drink the cool water straight from the source.

Mt Fuji World Heritage Centre - Opened in 2017 commemorating Mt Fuji's designation as a Unesco World Heritage Site the museum is dedicated to Mt Fuji. The centre boasts a viewing deck and a variety of exhibitions involving seismology, history, and cultural significance.

Day 05: Mt Fuji - Tokyo

Meiji Shrine - The Temple welcomes some 3 million visitors on the first days of the New Year for the year's first prayers which is literally more than any other shrines or temples in Japan. It is also the venue for traditional Shinto Weddings.
