Itinerary:

DAY 1: Arrival at Helsinki airport. Airport transfer. Check in at hotel. Welcome to the capital city of Finland!

DAY 2: Helsinki – Rovaniemi by night train 

Take the city sightseeing walking tour and the main highlights include Helsingin Tuomiokirkko, Market Square, Temppeliaukio Church, Uspenskin Cathedral, Sibelius Park. The historic quarters that lie between the Market Square and Senate Square are home to numerous cafés and restaurants. 

In the evening, transfer to station to catch your train to Rovaniemi.

DAY 3: Rovaniemi 

In morning, arrival at Rovaniemi airport, the official hometown of Santa Claus — Rovaniemi! 

Visit to Santa's Village. You will be taken to the most exciting, popular destination in Finnish Lapland, located in the Arctic Circle, north of Rovaniemi. The place gives you a jolly and cheerful feeling of Christmas all year round. Explore Santa Claus Village with a lot of Christmas and Lappish products to take back with you, and greet Santa Claus in his office! Join the elves working in Santa's post office, send postcards to all your friends with a special stamp on them.

Midnight sun picnic – In the evening, experience the midnight sun arctic picnic. The midnight sun is a natural phenomenon that occurs in the summer months in places north of the Arctic Circle, when the sun remains visible at the local midnight. A wonderful night adventure for unique natural phenomena lovers. Our tour takes you up to the top of the Santavaara Hill.

DAY 4: Rovaniemi 

Guided tour of Korouoma Canyon – Explore Korouoma National Park on a guided short hiking tour designed for you. Walk through dramatic canyons, lush forests, and crystal-clear rivers while learning about local geology, wildlife, and Arctic flora. The easy-paced hike is suitable for most fitness levels and focuses on scenic viewpoints and hidden natural highlights. Enjoy fresh air, peaceful surroundings, and expert insights that bring this pristine Finnish landscape to life.

DAY 5: Rovaniemi – Tromso by flight 

Private airport transfers at both cities. Welcome to the arctic capital of Norway, Tromso. Check in hotel and relax.

DAY 6: Tromso 

Join the city sightseeing walking tour to discover the secrets of the City of Tromsø and its century long history! On this tour, we cover the area of Tromsø within the original borders of 1794, from Strandtorget in the south, to Skansen in the north. The stories behind the walls and under the ground, where the guide will bring you around to Tromsø Domkirke, the city harbor area, the old city prison, while taking you back in history with fishing and entrepreneurial stories.

Midnight sun cruise – As the days lengthen and summer takes hold, the sunsets seamlessly transition into the midnight sun, a natural phenomenon where the sun remains visible at midnight, casting a surreal golden glow over the land. Depending on the day we can take the 'south' or 'northern' route along Kvaløya coastline, sporadically dotted by villages and idyllic boathouses and fish drying racks.

DAY 7: Tromso 

Arctic fjord sightseeing – The Arctic is a magical place that offers special moments through and around the fjords of Tromso. During the tour, we will visit Kvaløya and 3 beautiful fjords, Kaldfjord, Ersfjord and Grøtfjord, which are popular among visitors and great for those looking to take photos. We drive among beautiful mountains and tell a bit of history about how Norwegian peasants experience nature.

DAY 8: Departure 

Transfer to Tromso airport. Your Scandinavian Midnight Sun Adventure ends here!
