Day 1: Arrival in Prague
  • Arrival to Prague by flight

Day 2: Prague Christmas Magic

  • Breakfast at hotel 
  • 10:00 – Private Prague Walking City Tour including Christmas Markets with private guide (3 Hours) 

Start the tour from your hotel in Prague where your guide will be waiting for you. Then walk through the old town of Prague and admire ‘winter wonderland’ and spirit of Christmas. The Prague Christmas Markets consist of brightly decorated wooden huts stocked with local handicrafts and traditional Christmas treats. Among the many items on display are ceramics, jewellery, embroidered lace, wooden toys, scented candles, Christmas tree ornaments, hats and gloves, and puppets and dolls dressed in traditional costume. The guide will show you the most famous handmade products. While you can find some nice souvenirs at the stalls, to take home to decorate your house with or to use as Christmas gifts,  you can also taste some traditional food. Popular food on offer includes: large hams roasted on spits, barbequed sausages, smoked meat dumplings and pancakes. The tour ends in the old town or at your hotel.

16:00 - Shared River Cruise with snack (1 Hours) 

Take a relaxing one-hour cruise and enjoy a coffee or tea with dessert. Breathtaking view of Prague Castle, Cathedral of St. Vitus, Charles Bridge and many other monuments. The tour ends at the pier - František/Dvořák embankment.

Day 3: Prague to Vienna

Day 4: Vienna's Christmas Splendor

Start the tour from your hotel in Vienna where your guide will be waiting for you. Then walk through the city center of Vienna and admire ‘winter wonderland’ and spirit of Christmas. Vienna's prettiest squares will still be transformed into magical Christmas markets from the middle of November until Christmas. The aroma of Christmas baking, hot punch and toasted almonds hangs in the air. The Old City and shopping streets are decorated with festive lights that create a Christmas atmosphere in Vienna. Over 70 booths offering traditional handicrafts and original gift ideas are set up here during Advent. The tour ends in the old town or at your hotel.

Day 5: Vienna at Your Pace

  • Optional tour 09:30 - Historical City Tour With Schönbrunn Palace (3,5 Hours) 

This sightseeing tour starts at the Südtiroler Platz and takes you to the Ringstrasse boulevard, where you pass many popular tourist attractions. First take a look at the impressive Vienna State Opera, then not far from the Opera, the grand Hofburg Palace is located, the former winter residence of the imperial family. Next you will see the monumental buildings of the Museum of Art History and the Museum of Natural History. Further sights on the tour are the neoclassical Parliament, the acclaimed Burgtheater and the striking City Hall, where the legendary Life Ball takes place.  On arrival at Schönbrunn Palace a guided tour starts at once, no need to wait for Austria’s most popular tourist attraction!  You will visit the historic state-rooms and see how the imperial family once lived. Afterwards you have time to take a stroll through the palace gardens or enjoy a cup of original Viennese coffee and a piece of delicious apple strudel.

Day 6: Vienna to Budapest

Day 7: Budapest's Festive Charm

Start the tour from your hotel in Budapest where your guide will be waiting for you. Then walk through the city center and admire ‘winter wonderland’ and spirit of Christmas. Enjoy a warm wine, Hungarian delicacies and shop the most beautiful (handcrafted) products. The Christmas Market on Vörösmarty square is probably the most famous market in Budapest. And there is a reason for that. It is the oldest and most spectacular market out of all of them. And with a bit over 100 stalls it is also the biggest one. The market in front of Saint Stephens’s Basilica is without a doubt the most photogenic of all the Budapest christmas markets. The ice rink in front of the church combined with a big Christmas tree and a beautiful lightshow projectes on the Basilica create a magical atmosphere. The tour ends in the old town or at your hotel.
