The 2024 Sydney Marathon is an iconic event with a spectacular course that includes a run over the Sydney Harbour Bridge and a finish at the Opera House. The festival will be held on September 15, 2024 and features a marathon, half marathon, bridge run and a family fun run - so there is something for everyone! We’re thrilled to announce The Sydney Marathon, presented by ASICS, as a candidate race for the Abbott World Marathon Majors (AbbottWMM). Run one of the world’s most scenic marathon courses, taking in some of Sydney’s most spectacular and historic landmarks including the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House.

Itinerary : 

Day 01 - 12 SEP 2024 -  (THU) : TR12 SIN/SYD 1000/1945

Begin your holiday with a journey on Scoot Airlines to Sydney, the captivating 'harbour city' of Australia. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your Sydney hotel.

Day 02 - 13 SEP 2024 : (FRI)

Today, enjoy a day exploring the city of Sydney at your own pace with your Opal Card and the exhilarating ride on Oz Jetboat! Collect your race pack and shop for your favourite merchandise at the Race Expo. 

Day 03 - 14 SEP 2024  ( Sat ) Today, enjoy a day exploring the city of Sydney at your own pace. Explore Sydney’s weekend markets, famous beaches of Bondi and Manly , enjoy the fresh seafood at Sydney Fish Market or dine at the many cool cafes in Sydney city. 

Day 04 - 15 SEP 2024 ( SUNDAY )

Full Marathon Details :  Distance 42.195km (World Athletics Platinum Label Marathon) 

Use public transportation to travel from the hotel to the  race's starting point and return to your hotel. The transportation cost is covered as part of your event  registration. It's highly advised to arrive at the starting area at least an hour before your race begins.

Transfer to Sydney Airport according to departure flight back to Singapore.

• A non-refundable booking fee of SGD1,000 per person is required to secure a space. Full payment must be made upon booking confirmation.

• Family & friends may purchase the package under "Non-Runner” package subject to at least one guest being a Runner.

For slower runners, joggers or walkers, it is important to be in the correct starting group. There are three groups in each race all seeded according to expected finish time. Your time will not be affected in any way as the timing chip will only record your time from when you cross the start mats to the finish line mats. This will allow you to enjoy the event at your own pace and provide you with the best possible end result.  

As the Sydney Marathon, presented by ASICS, is run under World Athletics rules & regulations, all official results will be based on Gun Time. 

Participants will receive both Gun Time and Net Time on their finisher certificates.
