ITINERARY

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN PARO - THIMPU (LUNCH & DINNER)

Upon arrival in Paro around 1600 hrs local time, you will be greeted by your guide at the airport. Afterward, enjoy a scenic 1-hour drive to Thimphu. Upon arrival in Thimphu, check in to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at Thimpu hotel.

DAY 2: THIMPU (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)

After a hearty breakfast, proceed with a visit to the National Memorial Chorten. Continue to see the tallest Buddha statue, Dupthop Lhakhang and Changangkha Lhakhang. After lunch, take an excursion to Cheri Monastery. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 3: THIMPU – PROBJIKHA VALLEY (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)

After breakfast, drive to Gangtey, a 4–5-hour journey via Dochula Pass. Dochula Pass offers stunning panoramic views of the Himalayan mountain range. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. After lunch, enjoy an excursion to Phobjikha Valley. Overnight stay at Probjikha Valley.

DAY 4: PROBJIKHA VALLEY - PUNAKHA (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)

After breakfast, drive to Punakha, passing through scenic farmhouses and vast rice fields. Visit the Chimi Lhakhang Monastery. Next, explore the majestic Punakha Dzong. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 5: PUNAKHA – PARO VALLEY (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)

After breakfast, drive to Paro, stopping to visit Kyichu Lhakhang. Continue to Paro Valley and visit Paro Dzong. Next, visit Ta Dzong, originally built as a watchtower and converted into the National Museum in 1968.

DAY 6: PARO VALLEY – TIGER NEST HIKE - PARO (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)

After breakfast, proceed to Tiger Nest. This iconic Bhutanese monastery is perched on a 1,200-meter cliff and is one of the most famous in Bhutan. Lunch and dinner provided. Overnight in Paro.

DAY 7: PARO - DEPARTURE (BREAKFAST)

After breakfast, free time to check out and transfer to Paro Airport.
