Itinerary Adjustment Notice

According to the latest announcement from the Tasmanian Parks and Wildlife Service, Tasman Arch and Devils Kitchen will undergo upgrades and renovations from 15 April 2026, scheduled to reopen by October 2026.

The Port Arthur itinerary is adjusted as follows: Retained: Tessellated Pavement, Cancelled: Tasman Arch, Devils Kitchen, Blowhole Added: Remarkable Cave

The afternoon itinerary remains unaffected; the Port Arthur historic site will be visited as scheduled. Overall duration and experience remain largely unchanged.

Please inquire about tour start date, itinerary order and price before placing your order. Surcharges may apply for some weekends, holidays, sporting events, conferences and certain festivals, including but not limited to: Christmas Day, Dark MOFO, Sydney to Hobart, New Year's Eve, Taste of Summer. Please inquire beforehand.

Itinerary Notes

1. The daily itinerary order may be adjusted and rotated, but attractions and content remain unchanged. Daily itinerary times and attraction order are for reference only; final arrangement is subject to the guide's scheduling on the day. Guests will receive an itinerary notification SMS one day before departure.
2. Launceston offers two tour packages, select according to travel dates: Mid-January to Mid-December: Launceston (Part 1), Mid-December to Mid-January: Launceston (Part 2)
3. Maria Island ferry hours are 10:00-14:30 or 11:30-16:15 year-round, subject to availability on the day of booking.

• Port Arthur: Four Major Natural Attractions – Port Arthur Ruins – Optional 1.5-Hour Cape Raoul Cruise (at own expense)

Depart from Hobart, drive southeast along the scenic Tasman Highway to Port Arthur for a day trip filled with natural wonders and historical culture.

Visit the Tasman Peninsula's natural attractions, including Tessellated Pavement and Remarkable Cave.

Afterwards, visit Port Arthur Historic Site, a key 19th-century British convict settlement and World Heritage Site. The site preserves numerous historical buildings including the main prison, chapel, workshops and hospital, offering insight into the lives of convicts and the historical context of the colony. A 1.5-hour Cape Raoul cruise can be added to the itinerary at own expense.

• Maria Island: Darlington Historic Site – Painted Cliffs

Depart from Hobart, travel to Triabunna Wharf on the east coast and take a ferry to the tranquil and pristine Maria Island. Upon arrival, first visit the island's historical heart, Darlington Historic Site. Once a 19th-century convict settlement, it preserves prison remains, workers' quarters, stone houses and former farm ruins.

Afterwards, walk along the coast to Painted Cliffs, where you can admire striped rocks eroded by the sea at low tide. Along the way, you may have the opportunity to see wild wombats, kangaroos and various birds roaming through the forest meadows.

• Bruny Island: Get Shucked Oyster Restaurant (optional) – The Neck Lookout – Adventure Bay – Bruny Island Honey (optional)

Depart from Hobart and drive to Kettering Pier in the south to join the ferry to Bruny Island. Upon arrival, first visit Get Shucked Oyster Restaurant (optional) to enjoy fresh oysters.

Next, head to The Neck, a landmark on the island. Climb the boardwalk for a panoramic view of the island's narrow, elongated shape flanked by the sea, one of Bruny Island's most iconic photo spots.

Afterward, drive to Adventure Bay to admire the pristine coastline, with a chance to spot wild white kangaroos. Finally, visit Bruny Island Honey (optional) to sample honey ice cream and other products. Take the ferry back to Kettering Pier and drive back to Hobart.

• Hobart City: Richmond Town – Salamanca Square – Wellington Hill – Cascade Brewery (exterior view)

Visit Richmond Town, one of Tasmania's most historic towns, home to Australia's oldest stone bridge and a quaint church. Head to Salamanca Square, home to art galleries, craft shops, cafes and restaurants (visit Salamanca Market if touring on a Saturday).

In the afternoon, ascend Wellington Hill for panoramic views of Hobart and the Derwent River (if unavailable, the itinerary will be changed to Rosny Hill Lookout). The final stop is Cascade Brewery, Australia's oldest brewery, a popular landmark for photography and sightseeing (exterior view only).

• Wineglass Bay: Seaside Town Swansea – Freycinet National Park – Wineglass Bay Lookout – Honeymoon Bay

Starting from Hobart, drive north along the East Coast Scenic Drive for about 2 hours to the seaside town of Swansea, one of Tasmania's oldest seaside settlements, with views of Freycinet National Park across the water.

Afterwards, head to Wineglass Bay Lookout, about a 1-hour drive. The round trip on the trail takes approximately 1.5 hours, with moderate uphill sections offering views of the crescent-shaped white sand beach, one of Tasmania's most iconic landscapes.

Next, head to Honeymoon Bay, a small, beautiful bay with crystal-clear waters, perfect for a quiet stroll or photos.

• Cradle Mountain: Sheffield – Cradle Mountain National Park – Dove Lake – Ronny Creek

First, visit Sheffield, the "Mural Town," where vibrant murals depicting Tasmanian history and life can be seen along the streets. Continue to Cradle Mountain National Park.

Within the park, visit Dove Lake, a postcard-perfect spot with a mirror-like surface reflecting the surrounding peaks. Ronny Creek is a wetland meadow and habitat for wombats, often seen up close, with a boardwalk ideal for a leisurely stroll.

If the summit is closed, the tour will be changed to hiking trails near the Ranger Station at the foot of the mountain, such as the Enchanted Walk and King Billy Track.

• Launceston (Part 1): Swiss Village – Tamar Island Wetland Reserve – Cataract Gorge (Visit time: Mid-January to Mid-December)

Starting from Launceston city, visit Grindelwald Swiss Village, a Swiss town modeled after a traditional Swiss village, featuring lake views, wooden houses, cafes and craft shops.

Next, drive to Tamar Island Wetland Reserve, traversing a wetland ecosystem along a boardwalk, with a chance to see native birds, black swans, frogs and aquatic plants. Finally, visit Cataract Gorge, featuring suspension bridges, walking trails, cable cars, viewing platforms and meadows with kangaroos and peacocks.

• Launceston (Part 2): Bridestowe Lavender Estate (admission not included) – Cataract Gorge (Visit time: Mid-December to Mid-January)

Starting in Launceston city centre, visit the famous Bridestowe Lavender Estate (admission not included). Stroll through the flower fields for photos, sample lavender desserts and purchase souvenirs.

Afterwards, head to Cataract Gorge for hiking trails, suspension bridges and a cable car ride for panoramic views, with a chance to encounter kangaroos and peacocks.

Hotel & Airport Transfer

1. Flight requirements: Arrive in Hobart on Day 1 by 09:00 local time. On the last day, depart Launceston at 16:00 local time; if no suitable flight is available, depart Hobart at 20:00 instead.
2. Upon arrival, guests join the itinerary directly; free airport pick-up is provided. On the last day, free airport drop-off is provided.
3. Transfer services outside the main itinerary incur additional charges; please consult us for details, or arrange own airport-hotel transportation.
4. For guesthouses or areas vehicles cannot easily reach, guests need to go to the nearest meeting point to board; please consult us in advance for the exact meeting point.

Suggested flight times may vary depending on itinerary order; please confirm flight time again before purchasing tickets. Actual transfer time may be earlier depending on the day's situation; if your flight is later, you still need to arrive at the airport per our transfer arrangement, or forgo the transfer at own expense.

In the event of airline cancellation or delay, guests must proactively notify the pick-up personnel of the time change. If you miss the driver/guide's departure time from the airport, you will need to make your own way at your own expense.
