Day 1:

Day 1 Arrival – City Tour 

Upon arrival at Kuching International Airport, meet and greet by your local tour representative and transfer to local eateries to sample local delicacies (own expense) Proceed for 3 hours city orientation tour that takes you through the historical centre of old Kuching, past old shophouses and the old Malay settlement west of the city. You will see the indelible mark of the White Rajah with their forts and colonial buildings. Places of interest: Cat Monument, Majlis Bandaraya Kuching Selatan (MBKS), Old State Mosque, Indian Muslim Mosque OR Tua Pek Kong temple, Waterfront overlooking the Astana and Dewan Undangan Negeri Sarawak (DUN), Square Tower, Darul Hana Bridge, Brooke Memorial and Old Court House. 

After tour, check in to your selected city hotel and overnight. 


Day 2:

Day 2 Medan Niaga – Sarawak Cultural Village- Kek Lapis Outlet (Breakfast)

Breakfast at hotel. 0800hrs depart to Medan Niaga which renowned with the native who set up stalls on canvas here selling fruit and vegetables. Goods on offer include handicrafts, forest produce, and a whole range of local snacks and delicacies. Continue the journey to Sarawak Cultural Village, a unique award-winning living museum offering informative introduction to local cultures and lifestyles. 

Highlight of the trip is the 45 minutes traditional dances of the various ethnic tribes of Sarawak at the Village theatre. After the show transfer back with lunch enroute (own expense). Then depart to back to Kuching with stopover at Sarawak Kek Lapis outlet (meaning Sarawak layer cake) is a layered cake from the state of Sarawak in Malaysia. This cake cabn be found everywhere in the Malaysian state of Sarawak. Usually Kek Lapis Sarawak will be served on special occasions.  They are often baked for cultural celebrations such as Eid ul-Fitr, Gawai, Deepavali, birthday and weddings. People in Malaysia practice an open house tradition during any festival day, and the modern layered cakes may be served also everywhere in Sarawak. This is your chance to purchase some once you arrive at the Kek Lapis Outlet before sending you back to hotel by 3.00pm for your own leisure and overnight.


Day 3:

Day 3 Heritage + Gastronomy trail – Local Product Shopping (Breakfast) 

Breakfast at hotel. 0830 hrs depart for a short walk that takes you on a trip to discover Kuching’s old buildings and historical monuments to learn more about the city with its beginnings and the legacy of the White Rajah. Some of the most iconic buildings along the trail are the Sarawak Steamship Building, General Post Office, Round Tower, The Pavilion and many more. Along the way, make stop at local coffee shop at Carpenter Street, Open Air Market and etc to sample the local dishes and snacks (own expense) 

Afternoon, continue to visit local shopping outlets: Main Bazaar, India Street, Gambier Streets, Padungan to shop for pepper products, tebaloi (sago biscuits), arts & handicrafts, bird nest and sea produces. Return to hotel after tour and overnight. Return back to hotel after tour about 4.00pm and overnight 


Day 4 Departure transfer to Kuching airport (Breakfast)

 Breakfast at hotel and free at own leisure till check out. Transfer to Kuching International Airport for departure.
