Itinerary :


DAY 01: ARRIVE DELHI 

Arrive at New Delhi International Airport. Following immigrations, baggage collection and customs, Tamarind Global representative will meet you at the EXIT of ARRIVAL TERMINAL building after which you would be transferred to your hotel.  On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Check in at 1400 hrs.  

Delhi stands as the capital of modern India, a vibrant metropolis where the old and new, the ancient and the modern, come together in perfect harmony. Its strategic location has been a major factor in its selection as the seat of power by successive dynasties throughout history. As a result, Delhi is a unique amalgamation of seven cities, each with its own distinct character and charm. The city has witnessed the rise and fall of many empires, leaving behind a wealth of monuments that pay tribute to the grandeur and glory of bygone eras. Few cities in the world can boast such a profusion of architectural styles as Delhi.

DAY 02: IN DELHI 

Following breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a sightseeing tour around 0900 hrs.  

Shah Jahan established the city of Shahjahanabad, now known as Old Delhi, in 1648. The renowned Red Fort, located in the center of Old Delhi, was once the most luxurious fort of the Mughal Empire. On your tour, you will be taken on a drive past the Red Fort and visit the Jama Masjid Mosque, a stunning example of Mughal architecture. 

Embark on a thrilling cycle rickshaw ride through the winding backstreets of Old Delhi to gain an immersive experience of the vibrant hustle and bustle of this ancient city. Feel the energy of the city as you weave through the bustling streets, taking in the sights and sounds of the city's rich history. 

Proceed to New Delhi, taking in the sights of India Gate, Parliament House, and Government buildings as you drive past.      

Around 1300hrs, you will stop for lunch at local Restaurant. 

Following lunch, drive to Qutub Minar, a majestic minaret and victory tower located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Qutub Complex. Standing tall at a height of 72.5 metres (238 ft), Qutub Minar is the second tallest monument in Delhi. It was originally constructed in 1192 by Qutb Ud-Din-Aibak, the founder of the Delhi Sultanate, after he had defeated the last Hindu ruler of Delhi.  

Following the sightseeing tour of Delhi, you will be driven to shopping centre for shopping.

Day 03: DELHI – AGRA 

After breakfast, we will depart for Agra. The journey will take approximately four hours, covering a distance of 202 kilometers. On arrival, check in to the hotel followed by lunch.  

Post lunch proceed to visit Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday). Emperor Shah Jahan built this splendid mausoleum in his wife Mumtaz Mahal’s memory. Considered the finest instance of Mughal architecture, it’s a style that’s a fusion of Persian, Ottoman, Indian and Islamic styles. This world heritage site, an integrated complex of structures, stands on a walled garden entered through a spectator area on the main block. Then visit the Agra Fort, which was commissioned in 1565 by Akbar, and subsequently embellished by other Mughal Emperors. The beautiful yet forbidding structure houses many exquisite palaces, and is a handsome example of Mughal architecture. 

After that proceed to visit Agra Fort which is an outstanding example of Mughal architecture and the seat and stronghold of the Mughal Empire under successive generations. It was built in the late 1560`s by Emperor Akbar, with later embellishments by Jehangir, his son, and Shah Jahan, his grand-son.

Day 04: AGRA – JAIPUR 

Following breakfast around 0800 hrs, drive from Agra to Jaipur, a distance of 237 Kilometres and journey time of approximately 05 hours enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri. 

Fatehpur Sikri the deserted red sandstone city that was built by Emperor Akbar as his capital.  It was a veritable fairy tale city and its 'ruins' are still in a pristine condition. It is not hard to imagine what the court life must have been like in the days of its grandeur.   

Lunch at enroute in Bharatpur around 1300 hrs, you will continue driving to Jaipur.

On arrival, you will check in to your hotel.  

The majestic city of Jaipur presides over the captivating desert state of Rajasthan and its people, surrounded by rugged hills, each crowned by a formidable fort and beautiful palaces, mansions, and gardens scattered throughout its precincts. The palaces and forts of days gone by, which were once the backdrop of royal processions and grandeur, are now living monuments, seamlessly integrated into the lives of the people of the Pink City. There is an ageless quality to Jaipur's bazaars and its people, and its historical past revives the legends of the ancient Rajputs.

Day 05: IN JAIPUR 

After enjoying your breakfast at the hotel by 0700 hrs, you will embark on an exploration of the vibrant city of Jaipur. From its majestic forts and palaces to its bustling markets and vibrant culture, Jaipur is sure to captivate your senses and provide a unique experience. Get ready to explore the city's rich history and culture, and discover the many wonders that await you! 

Drive to the ancient capital of Amer, also known as Amber with a short stop at Hawa Mahal, the palace of winds, to experience the majestic Amer Fort, perched atop a ridge just outside Jaipur city. Climb the hill on the back of an elephant or take a jeep ride down the hill for a unique and unforgettable experience. 

Following lunch at local restaurant at 12 noon, we will proceed to explore the other captivating sights of Jaipur. 

The tour highlights include a visit to the City Palace Museum, which boasts a collection of Rajasthani costumes, armory of Mughal and Rajputs, and swords of various shapes and sizes with intricately carved handles. Additionally, the museum's art gallery houses an impressive selection of miniature paintings, carpets, royal artifacts, and rare astronomical works written in Arabic, Persian, Latin, and Sanskrit. 

Proceed to the Jantar Mantar Observatory, a magnificent stone astrological and astronomical observatory constructed by Maharaja Jai Singh II in the 18th century.   

Enjoy shopping and return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.  

Day 06: JAIPUR – DELHI  

Following breakfast, you will be drive to Delhi, upon arrival lunch at local restaurant followed by shopping at local market. Post that dinner at local restaurant & then departure transfer to the airport for flight to onward destination.
